Sitting at a table in another room make a shopping list for clothing as though you were replacing your wardrobe.
pants - 3 pair dress
2 pair casual
etc.
After listing all items that you need to function week to week stack your clothing on the bed in piles ( Dress slacks, casual slacks etc.) then shop. Choosing the 3 dress slacks you want, try them on, if they fit the rest can go and you don't have the work of trying them on or the stress of making many decisions.
In the end you have a wardrobe that is accessible and suited to your needs.
