So there you are, faced with a pile of who knows what. It is on the fridge or any flat surface. You pick a few things out and find them new homes then you realize your just rotating flat surfaces. From the fridge to the desk to the stand by the door. Problem is they are all full. Now what?
Grab a box and place everything from all the flat surfaces in it.
Find a spot outside or in an other room and lay out as many boxes as there is rooms in your house.
Label these boxes( bathroom, bedroom etc).
Sort the items into the rooms they truly belong in expect leftovers we will deal with them next. When you have finished the first sort take a box to the room it is labeled and put things away. Returning to the leftover items try putting like items together it will help you see any excess and make decision making easier. As for the flat surfaces, put a basket there for misplaced items and empty it regularly.
Remember to enjoy your flat surface now that it is cleared away.

Everyone has an old toothbrush kicking around. Put the toothbrush to good use as a mini scrub brush on taps behind taps in window wells and around sinks. This no cost item has saved my fingers many times.

Hello all, I have been busy with spring cleaning, windows, walls and floors.
Todays tip for a green clean toilet bowl, purchase a pumice stone at your local hardware store's cleaning aisle. this little tool will remove all the mineral stains and leave your toilet clean without harsh chemicals.

Sitting at a table in another room make a shopping list for clothing as though you were replacing your wardrobe.

pants - 3 pair dress
2 pair casual
etc.

After listing all items that you need to function week to week stack your clothing on the bed in piles ( Dress slacks, casual slacks etc.) then shop. Choosing the 3 dress slacks you want, try them on, if they fit the rest can go and you don't have the work of trying them on or the stress of making many decisions.
In the end you have a wardrobe that is accessible and suited to your needs.
